Pike RoboDevils participates in the Safe Trick Or Treat!

The Pike RoboDevils Team 1018 participated in the Pike High School Safe Trick Or Treat event October 25. The team brought out “Cranky”, a robot that tends to have some cranky moments, and the XRP tiny robot named “Tiny Max”. Both robots were used to demo robotics and hand out candy.

Several hundred kids ages 0 to 12 (plus their parents!) came through to see “Cranky” on candy duty (“Cranky” was turned off for that activity) and then got to see “Cranky” in action in a taped off section of the high school’s main lobby.

“Tiny Max”, an XRP or eXperimental Robot Platform, was programmed to autonomously move in a square and a pentagon with candy.
